Meet our founder, Meg.

LEADERSHIP AS AN ACT OF SERVICE

Meg believes the most meaningful work happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to participate fully, and clear enough to move forward together. She sees leadership as an act of service—and as an opportunity to build trust, strengthen community, and create the conditions for people and organizations to flourish.

Through Hearthstone Consulting, she partners with leaders, teams, and organizations navigating complexity, change, and the conversations that cannot be solved by another meeting, slide deck, or strategic plan alone. Her work creates room for people to slow down, name what matters, build shared understanding, and turn insight into practical action.

Meg is a consultant, facilitator, coach, and speaker who brings both structure and humanity to the table. She is known for asking thoughtful questions, listening for what is beneath the surface, and helping people engage productively with challenges that may have felt difficult to address. Whether she is supporting a leadership team, facilitating an organizational conversation, coaching an executive, or speaking to a room full of change-makers, Meg helps people find a more grounded way forward.

Her approach is rooted in a simple conviction: sustainable progress does not come from asking people to push harder. It comes from creating the conditions where trust, accountability, courageous conversation, and community can take root.

At Hearthstone, Meg’s role is not to arrive with a one-size-fits-all answer. It is to help clients identify what is true in their context, make space for the voices and perspectives that matter, and build a path that is both ambitious and human.

Meg’s coaching creates space for leaders to reconnect with their potential, deepen self-awareness, and imagine a more fulfilling and authentic way forward.

“My ultimate goal is for you to feel safe to grow and think outside the box about your path.”
— Meg

EXPERIENCE THAT MEET COMPLEXITY WITH HUMANITY

Meg Audette is an organizational effectiveness consultant, facilitator, executive coach, and keynote speaker with more than 20 years of experience helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity, change, and high-stakes decisions.

Her work is grounded in senior leadership roles across global nonprofit, international development, humanitarian, and diplomatic-aid settings in Latin America, West Africa, and the Middle East. Most recently, Meg served as Chief Organizational Effectiveness Officer at ChildFund International, a global organization of more than 1,000 people. In that role, she led organizational-effectiveness strategy spanning culture transformation, leadership development, digital transformation, organizational learning, and systems that strengthened accountability and decision-making. She also partnered with executive leadership and the board on strategy, governance, and change.

Earlier in her career, Meg held senior leadership roles with UNRWA, Tetra Tech, Global Communities, and World Vision. Her experience includes leading operations and programs in fragile and rapidly changing contexts; managing cross-functional teams; strengthening project delivery, systems, compliance, and monitoring; and supporting organizations to turn strategy into action. Her work has included overseeing a $13 million USAID-funded program within a $100 million umbrella initiative, leading a 17-plus-person program-quality team, and serving as monitoring and evaluation lead for a $36 million USAID-funded consortium.

Meg’s work is rooted in peacebuilding, community building, and honoring stories of resilience and humanity. As an Indigenous woman and member of the Métis Nation of Western Canada, she understands leadership as service, reciprocity, and intergenerational learning. That perspective shapes how she builds trust, shares power, and creates space for others to lead.

Meg is an executive coach, mentor, regular content contributor to the Leadership for Social Impact Forum, and a recently-elected member of The Tasha Ten, a global community committed to human-centered and sustainable leadership. She recently appeared on the True Leadership Podcast to discuss resilient leadership in a world that will not slow down.

Outside of work, she is a gardener, canner, and active participant in her local community—practices that reflect the same values she brings to her professional life: care, resourcefulness, connection, peacebuilding, and grounded growth.

Meet Victoria.

CREATIVE OPERATIONS & CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Victoria Sinclair helps turn expertise, ideas, and evolving initiatives into thoughtful, usable client experiences.

As an executive operations and project-management professional, she brings structure, clarity, and momentum to complex or growing work. At Hearthstone Consulting, Victoria partners with Meg to translate leadership expertise and meaningful conversations into the materials, workflows, communications, and touchpoints that support strong client engagements.

Her work includes project coordination, client communications, proposals, presentations, workshop and retreat materials, resource development, brand implementation, and practical systems that support clear next steps and dependable follow-through. She is especially skilled at taking something still forming—an executive initiative, new service, client engagement, meeting process, or body of expertise—and giving it the shape, language, and structure needed to become clear and useful.

Victoria’s experience spans executive support, nonprofit operations, project management, brand and communications strategy, LinkedIn positioning, website content, video production, and collaborative planning. She brings strong organization, an eye for clarity and story, and a calm, responsive presence to every engagement.

At Hearthstone, Victoria helps ensure that meaningful work lands well: clients feel considered, informed, and supported from the first conversation through the next practical step.
